Introducing the Blog Basics Series

Blog Basics: Blog!Hello, Clovis Town Readers! I’m super excited to announce our next series of blog posts – all about my favorite topic, blogging!

“Blogs about blogging? How silly,” you say. But hear me out!

While super-pro websites are fine and dandy, some people and businesses have very simple needs that can be readily covered by a blog website. While blogs used to be basic platforms for espousing information, they have evolved to a much more robust tool. A blog can help somebody improve their personal brand, or help a family share their story. Blogs can help a small business start small, launching a more manageable blog site before moving on to a larger website.

This month we’ll be covering blogs from start to finish – what they are, what they can do, and what YOU can do to make your blog the best in your industry.

Player 5 J-me BoxMe? I’ve been blogging for a very long time – over 10 years now. I had a user site I would update regularly back in the days when AOL was popular. (In other words, this sound actually means something to me.) I had a LiveJournal long before it became the dinosaur of blogging tools. I’ve since become a WordPress junkie, have several personal blogs I manage, and I help Bicycle Theory clients get the most out of their own websites and blogs.

So read on, dear readers! By the end of the month, you’re going to be a blog nerd JUST LIKE ME!

And how could you not trust a blogger with a face like this? =D

ha! I was going to try to think of a good joke about my own “personal brand” being dull and tasteless, but instead I’ll just say: thanks Jeremy! I should have you proof my posts.
